MAWAPRES/National Student Award

Penghargaan Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Mawapres) Tingkat Nasional di Indonesia diselenggarakan secara resmi oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) melalui Pusat Prestasi Nasional (Puspresnas) dalam ajang Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Pilmapres).

Ajang ini terbagi menjadi tiga kategori utama: Program Sarjana, Program Diploma (Vokasi), dan Kategori Disabilitas.

Komponen Utama Penilaian

Komponen Penilaian	Deskripsi & Bobot Unsur
Capaian Unggulan (CU)	Maksimal 10 prestasi/penghargaan terbaik (skala kompetisi, keorganisasian, aksi kemanusiaan, atau HKI).
Gagasan Kreatif / Produk Inovatif	KTI berupa solusi logis berdasar SDGs untuk Sarjana, atau prototipe/produk fisik yang aplikatif untuk Diploma.
Kemampuan Bahasa Inggris	Presentasi karya tulis dan sesi tanya jawab interaktif dalam Bahasa Inggris.
Wawasan & Kepribadian	Uji karakter, integritas, dan pemahaman wawasan kebangsaan/isu global.

Bentuk Penghargaan & Apresiasi

• Gelar Kehormatan: Mahasiswa Berprestasi Utama (Mawapres Utama 1, 2, dan 3) Tingkat Nasional serta Juara Harapan.
• Finansial & Akademik: Uang pembinaan, piagam penghargaan menteri, dan prioritas beasiswa lanjutan (misal: Beasiswa Unggulan / LPDP).
• Peran Duta: Diangkat sebagai agen perubahan ( agent of change ) dan perwakilan mahasiswa Indonesia dalam forum kepemudaan atau diplomasi internasional.

Syarat Umum Peserta

• Terdaftar aktif di PD-Dikti, maksimal semester VI.
• Batas usia maksimal 22 tahun per 1 Januari tahun berjalan.
• Lolos seleksi berjenjang mulai dari Tingkat Jurusan/Fakultas, Universitas, LLDIKTI (Wilayah), hingga Nasional.

The National Outstanding Student Award (Mawapres) in Indonesia is officially hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) through the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) as part of the annual National Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres).

The competition is categorized into three main tracks: Bachelor's Program (Sarjana), Diploma Program (Vocational), and the Disability Track.

Core Assessment Components

Assessment Component	Description & Core Focus
Top Achievements (CU)	Up to 10 top achievements or awards (scored by competition scale, leadership, humanitarian action, or patents/IPR).
Creative Idea / Innovative Product	SDG-focused written scientific paper for Bachelor's candidates, or a functional physical prototype/product for Diploma candidates.
English Language Proficiency	Presentation of the paper/product followed by an interactive Q&A session in English.
Insight & Personality	Evaluation of personal character, integrity, national awareness, and global issue perspectives.

Awards & Recognition

• Honorary Titles: National Outstanding Student (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Main Winners) as well as Runner-Up titles.
• Financial & Academic Rewards: Development grants, ministerial award certificates, and priority access to advanced degree scholarships (e.g., Beasiswa Unggulan / LPDP).
• Ambassadorial Role: Appointment as youth agents of change and official student delegates for international diplomacy and youth forums.

General Eligibility Criteria

• Actively enrolled in the national higher education database (PD-Dikti), up to the 6th semester.
• Maximum age of 22 years old as of January 1 of the competition year.
• Must qualify through tiered selection rounds starting from Department/Faculty, University, Regional (LLDIKTI), to the National level.
