🛠Car Audio Diagram
Excellent for wiring diagrams, schematics, electrical & signal flow.
You can use its symbol libraries or make custom ones.
It supports conductor numbering, cross references, etc.
Great for 2D layout: drawing the physical locations of components (speakers, amps, wiring paths) in the car.
Use layers to separate wiring vs mechanical layout.
🛠 Tips to Make Them Work Better for Car Audio
In QElectroTech, start by building a custom symbol library (elements) for your typical car audio parts (speakers, amps, crossovers, wires, connectors). You can import or create your own symbols.
Use layers (in either tool) to separate wiring from physical layout, or to show multiple wiring scenarios.
In LibreCAD, set the scale to match your actual vehicle dimensions (door width, dash panel, etc.), so your layouts are proportionate.
You can export / import between them: for example, draw the wiring in QElectroTech and export as an image or DXF to overlay in LibreCAD.
Keep a consistent naming / numbering scheme (wire gauge, labels, colors) and include a legend.
